Serves for 4
Takes 1 hour
4, 6-oz Basa fish (or any white fish)
¾ cup honey
½ cup sweet & sour sauce
1/3 cup toasted sesame seed oil
1½ tsp freshly ground pepper
1 tsp freshly chopped ginger
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
Combine all ingredients (except for fish) in a medium-sized airtight mixing bowl. Add fish and marinate for 24 hours. If possible, flip half way through marinade time to allow even flavor distribution.
In a medium frying pan add oil. Fry on the high medium heat for about 3 minutes on every side. As serving suggestion you can add some chopped carrots, snow peas and red bell pepper into the same pan after fish and fry about 5 minutes stirring occasionally, so the veggies still would be crispy.
